WHAT IS BANKRUPTCY?
Bankruptcy is a set of laws that allow people who owe more than they can afford to pay to get a fresh start. You get the protection of the Bankruptcy Court. A Chapter 7 Bankruptcy is the basic bankruptcy whereby most or all of your debts are wiped out, and you go on without having to pay these obligations any more. A Chapter 13 is a wage earners plan.
